Welcome
Welcome to Empire Learning's sample course! This course is a small segment of our Code of Ethics course, which we have provided to illustrate our format. All of our user-friendly courses will follow the same format.
Over the next few slides, we will cover a few administrative details before moving on to the course. Some of the following details may vary based upon your state's rules and regulations.
Please note, if you are a California, Texas, or Florida licensee, courses will be delivered in a different, correspondence format.
Registering for a Course
For an overview of the process from start to finish, please see How It Works. If you are licensed in California, check out How It Works - California.

All Empire Learning courses are delivered in a convenient online format that allows your learning to be completed at any time, from anywhere with an internet connection. They can be taken on any computer, tablet, or device. Study materials are broken down into 10-15 minutes sections with brief unit quizzes and a final multiple choice test. You must complete every unit to take the final exam.

Our business hours are 10am - 7pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday. We will respond to any questions you may have within 1 business day.
Testing Procedures
Unit quizzes and the final exam required a score of 70% to receive credit, unless a different passing rate is required in your state. Exams are graded instantly and can be attempted as many times as needed with no additional fees. Quiz and exam questions are written to cover the most important points of each unit.
Please note that there are multiple versions of each exam and that questions will change for subsequent attempts.
Seat Time
Per regulations, in most states, you must typically spend a minimum amount of time in each course before submitting the final exam. The seat timer has been disabled for this sample course.
You can view both your progress and the passage of time in the bar directly above this text. The bar will denote how many sections you have completed (in green) while the timer will count towards the minimum time required. The timer will pause after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Certificates and Reporting
For non-sample courses, you will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. Credits are then reported every business day to the relevant authority, unless self-reporting is required by your state. Please note, this sample course does not count for CE credit.
